Annealing Technology
The steel wires go through over 1000 degrees high temperature calcination (the process will maintain enough time), then to appropriate cooling rate. The purpose is to reduce the material hardness, reduce the deformation and crack tendency of the wire, at the same time, to achieve improved machinability, softness and flexibility.
Steel wire going through annealing becomes soft and flexible, becomes more suitable for binding and construction uses.
Annealing Types
Oxygen free annealing
Open-hearth annealing used in galvanizing
Heat annealling
Batch annealing
With oxygen free annealing line, we process annealed wire from 8# to 38#.
It normally goes from wire rod, wire drawing, annealing. Then it can be oil tampered to add the anti-rusting property.
Annealed wire can be further processed into a variety of forms, including:
Straightened Cut Wire;
U Type Wire;
Loop Tie Wire;
Rebar Tie Wire;
Other forms.
Applications:
We process annealed wire for construction uses as tie wire, baling wire, binding materials. Also for making of crafts, weaving of wire mesh and making of iron nails.
